TRY HARD, TRY HARD, TRY HARD. IF YOU FAIL TRY AGAIN. KEEP TRYING TIL YOU GET IT.
My message for Jerry Brown, Barbara Boxer, and Dianne Feinstein.
I haven’t quite figured it out yet. The transitions we go through. The reasons/motives that drive us. I get motivated to do something real positive, make progress, lose weight, get my money right, whatever. Then I let it go, I stop. I stop before I really get underway. I chill with my people. I drink this poison. It makes me feel good. It gives me escape, but I’m not sure what I’m escaping from. We all had struggle. We all faced hardship. What makes mine any different from yours? Maybe not much, but even if yours was harder, does that lighten the blow to me? Not really. I’m carrying the weight of abused children. We hated life at a young age. We started feeling better as we got older but it’s only because we got consumed by other things. We found hobbies, passions, movements to follow, etc. It was just a cover up. It made us forget we were biracial and didn’t quite fit in with either of the cultures that meshed and created us as a bi-product. Could you imagine being a bi-product? We just happened to happen. We were too brown for the white kids, and too white for our Latin people. High school fucked me up. My identity crisis didn’t get solved until way after high school; until I stopped giving a fuck about what all these other people were thinking. I got into hip hop. I learned how to say in rhyme what I couldn’t say otherwise. People relate to it. Most people hold back what really hampers them and find their escape in different things. If they can find it in the music I make rather than the high/buzz we go chasing then something great happened. There are things we can’t share with people, it has to stay between us and the music, us and the bottle, us and the needle, us and the pipe. Figure it out, people chase the high because the high won’t judge them for the bad things that they did. I did things that will stay with me until I meet Jesus. There’s a couple of people that know but have enough respect for me that it will stay there. They’ll take it to Jesus as well, even though it will never be a topic discussed between them. We all keep shit hidden in the closet. You don’t have to say shit. Even if you are ready to compromise your life as it is you have to think… Is it worth it. Probably not. Why fess up? The ones that judge you in the public forum have uglier secrets than you. I bet some of those people would kill themselves if their dirt got out. It all comes full circle. We all have to answer for our sins. You don’t have to be religious to know that……… (to be continued)
It’s been six years since the last release of a Gran Turismo title. (Prologue was not a game and PSP doesn’t count). After years of painful waiting we have a release date… AND I CAN’T EFFING WAIT! Wake me up when it’s Nov. 2, 2010.
***UPDATE****
It got delayed again… I feel like I’m waiting for a fourth Jodeci album that’s never gonna come out. However I didn’t give up on them til a decade after the third album, so I guess Kazunori Yamauchi has 4 more years.

Just in case you didn’t know (cuz I didn’t), Carrie Underwood puts on a hell of a show! Like the good boyfriend I am, I escorted my girlfriend to the Carrie Underwood concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night and was treated to a great performance. This is a small video clip I took while there. Her voice is killer.
This guys facial expressions are priceless.
Fahrenheit 451 is closer than you think. After reading this it sounds more like they were worried about their screw-ups, misdeeds, and reputations than they were national security.
This is a power lunch of epic proportions!

Today I’d like to introduce you to a bacteria called “Clostridium Botulinum.” A wicked little monster that creates a powerful neurotoxin. If you are lucky enough to get infected by this pleasant fellow you can expect nausea, dizziness, vomiting, difficulty swallowing and speaking, blurred vision; and if left untreated paralysis or weakness of motor nerves, and ultimately death by respiratory failure. Now don’t freak out yet! Yes, mortality rates for the untreated are very high; roughly 70%. HOWEVER, if you seek treatment you can expect to die a lot less often. If ingested 10% of victims send their families casket shopping, and 15% for those that get infected by way of open wound. We call this Botulism.
What does this have to do with sticking things in places you ask? Well it just so happens that many physically self conscious and age-aphobic folks have themselves injected with our microscopic friend IN THEIR FACES! ON PURPOSE!!!! You’ve heard of it before, I assure you. It’s called BOTOX®.

Now I don’t want to be misleading. BOTOX is more or less a watered down version of the nerve toxin, and has proven to be very safe when administered by properly proper experts. Doctors of face sticking if you will. However, even with the best face sticking doctors bad things can still happen. If the toxin travels away from the point of injection things like ptosis, or drooping of parts of your face can occur (most commonly is the eyelids/eyebrows), and in some very rare cases death. The non-death effects can last up to six months but usually clear up in days.
Mr. Rekingball, get to the point please. Fair enough. I was watching a recent episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” in which Kim gets BOTOX for non existent wrinkles. The two doctor’s shown in the episode, albeit they probably have fantastic credentials, don’t ever explain to Kim what she really had herself injected with, and I think if you are considering BOTOX you might be interested in knowing a little bit more about what you’re about to have put into your body.
